I have very dry skin year round . . .
Hi Kris,

I used to have such painfully dry skin that it hurt just to put my face down
on my pillow. But all that has changed dramatically since I began taking cod
liver oil several years ago. (I use Carlson's lemon flavored liquid, and
take one tablespoon a day.) I suppose one could get plenty of Omega 3 fatty
acids from eating large quantities of oily fish on a daily basis, (which would be
more in keeping with Paleo principles) but many problems arise in doing this,
such as the difficulty in obtaining wild caught fish, expense, and
contamination issues. My skin is now so smooth, I have had more than one doctor
comment in amazement. My dogs get sardines daily as well, and they too have
perfect skin and gorgeous coats, and never get any hot spots, which golden
retrievers are very prone to developing. I cannot eat any smoked/tinned fish due to
my extreme sensitivity to Tyramine, but absent such a problem, sardines would
be deliver Omega 3 also. With the CLO, I know exactly how much I am getting.

I have numerous references if you are interested.

HTH!
