Just a thought to add to your concept:  A local doctor, here in South
Africa, holds the theory that one of the stressors in urban life is the
presence of straight lines in
abundance. His reasoning is that the only creatures that make straight lines
are other human beings, and the only real threats to us are other human
beings, therefore the presence of straight lines are an automatic,
subliminal stressor. His advice is to get out into the bush as often as
possible!
