To answer this question of giving my son dairy--NO! We never "give" it to
him.  Our experiences are all based on accidents that do come up.  They are
rare and far and few between but they do happen.

Even though we know from accidents that a small amount of milk baked into
something causes no reaction we never give it to him, especially since he
still gets hives on a spot where you put milk on his skin.

I was just trying to point out that in his case that although the small
amount of milk taken internally seems to cause no reaction a small bite of
a cheese cracker (he got hold of over a year ago) did cause a reaction.
