Just a thought, but if you don't get the help you need from LLL, consider
consulting a lactation consultant if you can afford it. When LLL was unable
to help me get my firstborn started on the breast (he didn't know how to
latch on, and I wasn't able to teach him on my own) I got much more help
from a paid lactation consultant. Of course, YMMV and all that....

Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Try massaging the duct
when nursing or pumping as well. fwiw, I only had mastitis once in about
6 years of breastfeeding, so hopefully this will be the only time for you
too!

Best of luck!
