Well, he didn't develop the allergy from it, he already had the allergy,
but the ice cream on his skin caused hives where it touched - this has been
a problem his whole life! When he was in Mother's Day Out they called me
to come get him because his face had broken out in hives and he was
wheezing . . turned out the teacher had wiped one child's milky face after
lunch, then wiped his with the same cloth. As I keep trying to make
teachers, scout leaders, etc. understand - milk is poison to him!

By the way - here's the list of ingredients for BK hamburger buns: Enriched
flour (niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, and folic acid),
water, sugar (sucrose or high fructose corn syrup), sesame seeds,
vegetable shortening, salt, wheat gluten, yeast, yeast food (calcium
sulfate, potassium iodate, potassium bromate, and/or ammonium sulfate),
dough conditioners (polysorbate 60, calcium peroxide, calcium salts,
sulfates, phosphates, and diglycerides), dough softeners (mono- and
diglycerides, and/or protease enzyme), mode inhibitor (calcium propionate),
preservative (potassium sorbate), oxidation/reduction additives (ascorbic
acid, potassium/calcium bromate, potassium/calcium iodate, alpha-amylase,
azodicarbonamide), leavening agent (monocalcium phosphate).

Appetizing, eh?
