Wow, what incredible bad luck for your daughter!  I am aware that some
people can be allergic to seeds as well as nuts, but luckily, no one in my
family is sensitive to sesame (knock on wood).  I am avoiding giving it to
my 10 month old until she's much older.  But I did eat it a couple times a
week during pregnancy and breast-feeding.  Sometimes it felt as though I
were playing Russian roulette with my kid's health, but to avoid absolutely
everything and maintain a nutritious diet seems sometimes an impossible task
when you're pregnant.

Worth noting again: I really do love "The Complete Food Allergy Cookbook",
because it also explains very thoroughly how to follow a rotation diet (for
those with food sensitivities, NOT serious or anaphylactic responses to
food).

Also, a P.S. on the pannekoeken:
I just remembered that U.S. flour has a higher protein content than Dutch
flour (and I have no idea about British or Australian, etc. flour).  But
that higher protein content probably means you'll want to use less of it in
proportion to the liquid.  Maybe someone else has a good crepe recipe.  At
any rate, they are simple and don't require any dairy (milk or eggs).
