Hi -

My husband didn't develop his inability to digest casein until he
was 23.  (He had been mildly lactose intolerant befreo that, but
didn't let it interfere with his ice cream ...)

My advice, if you suspect a food intolerance, would be to stop
eating processed foods and foods with many ingredients, and start
to maintain a food diary.  Within a couple of episodes you[ll probably
figure out the source of your problem, if a food really is the source.
