I was wondering if any of you react to dairy products with a runny
nose or
asthmatic symptoms?

My milk-allergic son says his reactions follow in this order: a
scratchy tight feeling in his throat, a
tightening in his chest, runny nose, face swells up. As soon as he
feels his throat react, he stops
eating whatever it is, grabs the inhaler and takes a couple of puffs.
Then I give him Benadryl for the
rest of it. He will have to use the inhaler every 3-4 hours until
his peak flow returns to normal. The
facial swelling/runny nose last longer - usually at least two days
before his face looks normal again.

(This is the same kid whose arm swelled from a drop of melted ice
cream dripped on him at school)
