Hi,

I don't know about the sodium lactate in shampoo, that sounds like it might
just be another name for lactic acid, which I believe is not derived from
dairy. But I would call the manufacturer just to be sure.

I have been thinking about something else...does anyone know whether milk is
still used to make glue? Like Elmer's glue or sticker adhesives? I ask
because we got our son some stickers (Teletubbies sticker extravaganza), and
his nose was running the whole time he played with them. He is
anaphylactically allergic to milk. Runny nose went away when we put the
stickers away. And then there is that cow on the Elmer's Glue bottle...why
is that there? Guess I should call Borden about that. The sticker company is
Sandylion (in Canada) and there is no phone number on the package, though.
Hmmm.

Does anyone know anything about this?

preschool!)
