Here's a new dairy-free margarine I've discovered at my local
health-food co-op: Earth Balance Natural Buttery Spread.  It's 100%
vegan (no animal ingredients whatsoever) and pareve (Orthodox Union).

Furthermore, it contains no GMO ingredients, hydrogenated oils, or
trans-fatty acids for those who are watching for those things, too.
It's appropriate for cooking & baking as well as spreading. The
manufacturer also claims that it helps your cholesterol ratio (much
like Benecol).
