You are of course correct, Don. I should have said that it is very likely
that my lactose intolerance is caused by another disease, because, tho many
of my symptoms have greatly improved after over 2 yrs of a strict,
lactose-free diet, I still have a continuing gastrointestinal problem.

 My doc says 1 in 100 people with lactose intolerance who are of European
descent (which I am) will have lactose intolerace as their primary disease,
NOT caused by something else.
