Hi to all,
Thanks for all on the info about alergy testing. I wrote that my daghter's
PED
wouldn't test her until age 3. She is finally getting tested earlier, in
Jan. I
also asked if the alergy testing really tells if there is an alergy since
her eczema has gotten worse although we have been carefully reading
ingredients.(milk has been a prob since 2 months old). One person
responded to be careful of sodium caseinate, I am aware of this and have
not given my daughter this. Thanks for that info. Also I have been told
to give her a strick diet and introduce certain foods slowley. We are
beginning to be more strick about what she eats. We have realized that she
has gone out to eat with her grandmother often these past few months(
grandma has tried to be careful but sometimes you never know what
resturants use). I am on a break from college at the moment so this will
help in controlling what she eats more. Her grandma has been advised not
to take her out to eat, atleast until we have narrowed this down some more.

I was interested to know what type of diet I can give her besides
eliminating all milk? I was told by one mom to eliminate soy, wheat and
nuts as well. My daughter(Kyrstin) has been drinking soy formula since 2
months old. She is now 2 and 9 months, could she have developed an alergy
to her formula after all this time? I havn't noticed her eczema getting
worse after she drinks it but her eczema has been so bad lately it is hard
to tell sometimes.
I wanted to thank everyone who responded to my questions. We are
trying extremely hard to win over this alergy.
Thanks Janine and especially Kyrstin
