I was wondering if anyone else has had a reaction after eating chinese food.
My only food allergy is dairy. MSG? I had thought chinese food was safe
except for the breaded stuff...I avoid that. Anyone?

I don't remember the reason why, but MSG could have caused the reaction. I get
a milk-like reaction from MSG, so I stick to a few Chinese restaurants that I
know don't use MSG and are familiar with many questions regarding their food
preparation. It could also be from pork, which sometimes doesn't sit well with
me either. So, I avoid all pork dishes and stay away from unfamiliar Chinese
restaurants. I was diagnosed lactose intolerant over 10 years ago. I now can
barely tolerate any dairy and it seems like each year there are more things that
I cannot eat. The Chinese food MSG and/or pork reaction is fairly new,
developing over the past two years. Oh, well.
