Just a little warning - we eat breakfast at Denny's a lot.
My milk-allergic son gets eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and a
dry English muffin. He's never had any problem with this.
We tried a new Denny's this weekend, and after a couple of
bites of egg his face was red and he was grabbing his
throat. "Inhaler, Mom", he rasped. I gave it quickly and
then called the server over. Asked her to check with the
kitchen for where the milk contamination might be. She
came back and told us there wasn't any milk in anything -
but they fried the eggs in butter, would that count?

We're going back to our old Denny's AND now we know another
question to ask. I didn't think any of the franchises
cooked with butter any more!

He's fine now - but that was scary.
