I had an appt. yesterday with my chiropractor who does NAET for me. I
asked him if he has been able to help people with anaphylactic reactions to
things. He said yes. He gave and example of a man who had anaphylactic
reactions to eggs. The man had not eaten any egg products for 12 years
because the last time he did, he was taken to the hospital nearly dead.
The man now eats eggs and has no reaction, after undergoing NAET
treatments. You can't just go in and pick what you want to be treated for.
My understanding is that the best results come when you proceed in
"clearing" things in a specified order. Eggs happens to be the first item.

As far as accupuncture/accupressure: my chiroprator uses a stimulating
device of some kind, activating the meridians as in accupuncture. It is
not painful at all. I have started my daughters (age 9 and 6) in NAET and
they love going. They think it is fun.

I hope people will not discount NAET thinking that it is too "alternative"
sounding. It has enabled many people to eat things that they previously
could not. In my case, I had been told by my N.D. that I had an
intolerance to dairy products, so I did not eat any for nearly 2 years. I
have now been "cleared" of dairy with NAET, but choose to remain off of
dairy for the most part. I have read enough about dairy to decide that I
don't believe it is a necessary part of my diet (or all that safe).
However, now I will enjoy a pizza every now and then, or maybe cheesecake
on my birthday. The only problem is that having changed my diet so
extensively in the last two years, I now have tried a few of the old
favorite foods and I don't really like them anymore. Go figure.
