I suggest you use the bread machine on "dough" setting. It will mix the
ingredients. You can then put it in a pan and let it rise to whatever level
you want (and it is capable of!). I do this all the time because the bread
consistency is much better. You can easily make rolls. My family happens to
prefer bread that way.
