Michelle,

No, you're not crazy.  This is something we've been working with for our
oldest daughter for about two years.  The bad news is that it's still not
generally accepted as an issue.

She's gone from a ADD/borderline Autism diagnosis with no friend being
evaluated for SPED because she couldn't track normal classes - to a happy,
bright, popular, disorganized, sixth grader.  Heather reacts to milk and
corn; corn seems to stay in her system 3-4 days after an exposure.

The school was skeptical at first, but very helpful once they started seeing
real changes.

Can you work with your son on some elimination/challenge tests? Does your
son agree with you at all?

The best information I've found on the subject is Dr. Doris Rapp's "Is This
Your Child?".
It covers behavior as well as some other "hidden" allergies.
