My doctors, down the years and independently, describe my identical reaction
to other antibiotics as an intolerance, not a true allergy, but haven't
prescribes all the same, as the efficacy of a medicine which is down the
toilet in minutes is minimal either way.

Depends on the doctors POV I guess.
