Rachele Shaw and I have been corresponding over the "Better than Milk" milk
substitute. The information that I used to challenge her assertion that it
wasn't dairy-free came from the CELIAC MILKALT FAQ, which is the same as
the NO-MILK MILKALT FAQ.

We have now found that the information in the FAQ is not fully clear. There
it says that it is dairy-free, with no mention of flavors. Apparently not
all variants are dairy-free as the vanilla and other flavors have sodium
caseinate in them. Only the plain is dairy-free. The ingredient list that
is in the FAQ is for the plain.

Note that the other flavors may be labeled non-dairy, as it is legal in the
US to label something non-dairy when it is has casein in it.

Also she has found an 800 number for Sovex, the manufacturer, that is not
in the FAQ. It is 800-227-2320.
