Hello Pammi,

Yes, I'm thinking ingredients must have changed. Right now, I'm eating only
"safe" foods. We'll see what I add back and have problems with again! It's so
frustrating that they swap ingredients like that. But having worked in some
food factories in my life, I also know that when they say "dairy free, but
manufactured on equipment that uses dairy", they mean it! And that does NOT
necessarily mean they are truly cleaning up between runs of dairy-foods and
non-dairy-foods. I still don't eat certain foods simply because I saw how they
were manufactured.

I am going to have to start reading labels each and every time. I have noticed
(here in the USA), though, that some labels have actually started listing at
the bottom something like "Contains: wheat, dairy", or "Allergy warning: nuts,
soy", and so on. Is there a government program that's going to require this? Or
is this voluntary? Also, how trustworthy are these warning flags? I noticed the
other day there was a "Allergy warning: dairy" flag on something that didn't
seem to list anything dairy in the ingredients! Meaning, the dairy was hiding
in "natural flavors" or something, I suppose. It would be wonderful to be able
to depend on these little warning flags - if indeed they are trustworthy.
