I have been having trouble finding a chewable calcium supplement for my 3 and
5 year-old daughters that they don't just absolutely fight having to take.
Recently, I found a supplement at K-Mart that they really love.  It is Nature
Made's CalBurst Calcium Supplement Soft Chews.  They look and taste somewhat
like Starburst candy, and come in cherry and chocolate flavors.  The
manufacturer has assured me that there are no dairy ingredients in them.
They are also less expensive than the GNC chewable supplements - about $6.00
for 60 pieces with 500 mg calcium.  I haven't tried them with my
milk-allergic son yet, since he is only 15 months old, but the girls really
like them.
