My son, now 9.5, was tested via RAST for dairy allergy at around age 1 year.
He tested negative even though he was on a lot of dairy and had constant ear
infections, ear fluid, and eczema.  After dairy removal at age 4, the
constant ear infections (therefore constant stream of antibiotics) ended and
the dark circles under his eyes lightened up.  Just my experience then...I
know its a few years and maybe the test has improved.
