Actually, the addiction is probably physical, not psychological. If there is
intestinal permeability, then partly digested proteins can enter the blood,
and attach to parts of the brain. One name given these peptides is
casomorphine. That is because they behave in a manner that is similar to
other opioids.

The addiction is real, and can result from the pepsin digests of milk or wheat.
