My daughter (now 31/2) was exclusively on breastmilk for the first year of
her life. It was only after I started her on milk products that she became
quite ill and was eventually diagnosed with an allergy to milk protein,
apples, corn, and to some extent, beef.  Her allergy to milk has become less
severe over time, but if she "cheats" too much, she reacts.
