I have a 15 month old who is sensitive to dairy, chocolate, and corn. We
figured out the first two at about 2 months while I was nursing. the
corn was a little more elusive and pinned it down when I started to wean
her and she reacted to only one brand of soy milk.

My daughter reacts with eczema and some vomitting/spitting up from the
dairy. She also gets extremely fussy and whiny. Nothing life
threatening, but certainly annoying and uncomfortable.

Or it could be something completely different. Our daughter is
developing, it would appear, nasal allergies which seem to cause the same
reactions. This includes the spitting up because of all the post nasal
drip and mucus in her stomach. Also, eczema can occur because of stress
or other non-related factors. You don't say what symptoms have
reappeared.

As for sources of calcium, we use the calcium fortified OJ, Tropicana
Bursters, Gerber Graduates juices w/ Calcium. I also try to add beans to
things - pasta salads, soups, hummus sandwiches, etc. This also helps
with the protien aspect too since the soy milks have some, but the rice
milks have little. You could try tofu smoothies (check the archives for
recipes).
