Hello--I am a new subsriber to this list.  We are a vegan (no
meant, fish, or dairy) family with a 4-year old child.  My son is
mostly happy about his diet, but sometimes feels as if he is the
only one who eats this way.  There are no other vegans in our
community that we know of, and very few vegetarians.  Does anyone
know of any children's books that feature characters who don't
eat meat or dairy products?  I think my son would love to have
such a book, if it exists (and if it doesn't, someone ought to
write one!).

I'd also be happy to hear from other parents in similar
situations.
