My understanding is that Sarah's daughter's GI symptoms would suggest
intolerance rather than allergy though (the "get this out of my system
quick" effect). Certainly my specialist concluded from my similar GI
symptoms that the problem was intolerance not allergy (nil prick test result
factored into that though)

My theory would be that there are pretty good physiological explanations for
headaches and lethargy as secondary symptom of chronic GI problems as a
result of LI - in that certainly in me it affects all digestion - not just
the milk, that is, I lose the entire meal(s) that contained the milk and,
well, that's gonna make you lethargic. Constant diarrhoea is also
dehydrating, which causes those symptoms as well (it really does feel like a
hangover at times for me). So while LI might not directly cause it
(although I don't know, OTOH it might be the direct cause) the symptoms of
LI could well cause it. All just my theories, from talking to various
doctors!

BTW, I get the nose bleeds too - but I put that down to SSRIs in my case!
