allergic to soy so, I
cannot use shortening. I might try it with
vegetable oil to see if it works.
Beth, how did your try with oil work? I would
think you'd need a solid fat to keep it from being
runny. Perhaps a no-soy no-milk margarine or
coconut oil would work.
