Dear Monica,

Yea, it's a bum way to test something, but I did the same thing!! I
forgot to ask you if you've ever been tested for food allergies? I ruled
out that possibility. I wasn't allergic to soy. I was really
"lucky"--only allergic to beef, pineapples & mushrooms in the food
category. I'm very allergic to mold, so maybe the mold factor in the
above foods is really the culprit (and the antibiotics in the
beef--probably penicillin). I bought some beef that's drug, pesticide,
hormone, and steroid free. I'm going to test it the same way you are
your soy. The only thing I have to remember is that beef has tyramine in
it too!

Good luck and let me know the results of your experiment!
Elizabeth
