Hi, Catriona -

To get lots of details about what kinds of alternatives there are to
cow's milk for your "baby", you should do a search in the following
places:

On an internet search engine for "milk allergy",
On Medline (available through www.nih.gov) for "milk allergy in infants",
and back to the internet for "infant colic".

You might also look through network news archives in the misc.kids.breastfeeding
newsgroup, where many mothers have had your exact problem, but for real.

Good luck with your project,
