Some have recently bemoaned the absence of Robert Cohen. As a
weary veteran of the "Milk Is Poison" wars, I have created your
own personal FAQ which contains everything of substance ever
uttered in this dispute. When you begin longing for a mindless
anti-milk pep rally, just read this and let the rest of us be spared.

Milk is poison crowd: "Milk is poison."
Response: "That's funny...I drink milk every day and I'm fine."
MIP: "You just think you are."
R: "Still, I would appreciate some actual evidence."
MIP: "My Uncle Ralph got much better when he stopped drinking
milk."
R: "And I've known people who drink milk without problem, so
we're back where we started. Got evidence?"
MIP: "I knew another guy, too."
R: "Look, in this country every time someone's cancer goes into
remission at about the same time they stop eating rutabagas, a
new cottage industry springs up based on the premise that the
rutabaga industry and the AMA are conspiring to kill us all. How
about some non-anecdotal evidence?"
MIP: "You uptight, anal-retentive jerks who want evidence for
everything are child murderers at worst, and ignorant dupes of
milk industry-financed propaganda at best."
R: "If we are supposed to be suspicious of anyone with a
financial ax to grind, shouldn't we also be suspicious of people
hawking anti-milk books?"
MIP: "If you're going to get insulting about this I'm leaving."
