I bought a calcium powder from Kirkman Labs ( www.kirkmanlabs.com ) that I
add to things like pancake mix or even the Tofutti Sour Supreme sour cream
that Amanda dips her carrots in.

And, no kidding about that hospital food.  When I was in giving birth to
Amanda, I stated "No Dairy" on every form I could.  Every meal had dairy in
it.  I lived on plain cheerios and the soda crackers from the little
kitchenette in the hall while I was there.  ugh
