My middle child who has no allergies is olive skinned with brown hair. The
oldest and youngest are very fair with with brown hair. I believe
watching my diet while pregnant and not allowing any exposure to milk until
her system was more mature helped prevent my youngest from developing
allergies as severe as her older brother. With my oldest I drank milk all
the time cause it was best for my baby (yeah right). I had 'morning'
sickness the whole nine months (from two weeks after conception). Until I
learned about all the foods milk can hide in, he was also exposed countless
times his first year. After 2/3 years of keeping his exposures to one or
less a year his reaction is not as severe. But I don't doubt if he had more
frequent exposures his reaction would again get worse.

Carmen mom to Zane 5, Maria 4, Alexis 2+.
