Last year I was happy to inform you all that we had found and tried
Sam's Choice (Wal-Mart brand)  chocolate chips.

The ingredients listed were safe and the kosher marking was a circle K
and parve.

Sunday afternoon I went to our local Super Center and bought three
bags.  The ingredient list and kosher marking remains the same.
Ingredients:  chocolate liquor, sugar, soya lecithin (added as an
emulsifier) vanillin (an artificial flavoring).

There is a new notation though.  It reads:  "This product is
manufactured in a facility that also processes milk chocolate."


I have not had a chance to contact Wal-Mart to ask any questions but I
thought I would warn all of you.

Elizabeth is quick to react to contact with milk products and she has
eaten some of the chips without a bump or hives.
