I'm sorry. I wrote Canola oil instead of the spectrum canola spread which
does have soy. However, it isn't quite as unusual as one thinks to be
allergic to canola oil. The current rage is to add tocopherols (sp? -
vitamin E), source not identified. It helps stabilize and add shelf life
to the oil. I don't know if this might be your son's problem but I do
know that many sensitive people have mentioned the need to avoid canola
oil. Sorry about the confusion.
