As far as I am aware, none of the "lact" ingredients, including the
lactates, lactylates, and lactic acid, should bother anyone who is LI. 
They may or may not be a problem for those who are extremely sensitive or
allergic. None of them have to be dairy derived; they can all come from
other sources.
