Huh - that's the first time I've heard that. I can see why you'd want to
train someone else in case you're unconscious and needed someone else to
administer it, but I don't see why someone else should always do it. Did
your doc explain?

Our 11-yr-old son's pediatrician gave him permission to carry and
self-administer his EpiPen.
