We had it while visiting with relatives, so we didn't do the shopping
ourselves.

My best suggestion is to look for big Jewish communities. Grocery stores
with an attached Kosher butcher should have lots of dairy-free items
available, and there seem to be several fitting that description in the
Toronto area.
