My son has many food and airborne allergies and he too will get
emotional when exposed to something he shouldn't be. He will start by
getting weepy, then complain that his legs feel wobbly and say that he
is so tired. He always wants to rest his head when he feels like this as
it seem too heavy to hold.
He was a bedwetter when he was eating eggs. We found out later that he
is allergic to eggs.  If he overdoes the wheat as well you can count on
him wetting the bed.
