I sent them (FAAN) an email yesterday, as well as 2 phone calls and an email
to Arla foods the main manufacturer of tagatose.  No response as of yet.  I
also called the FDA, but since the person I spoke to didn't know what
"anaphylactic" meant I question her response.  Which was basically (after 20 minutes on
hold) "if it comes from a cow, well don't eat it then."
