My son is dairy allergic--hives on face, stomachache, watery eyes, and I
have mild lactose intolence.  We both did a homeopathic remedy some years
ago (my son is now 8).  After that we found (by accident) that my son could
tolerate some milk cooked into baked goods.  Whether it was due to the
homeopathic remedy or outgrowing some of it I will never know, but this is
a child who as a baby and even still if you put milk on his face will break
out where you put it.  He still gets the above symptoms with straight dairy
(not cooked in) such as milk, whipped cream, cheese, milk powder, etc.  The
dairy allergy had been improving some anyway.  My intuition is that the
homeopathic remedy helped some.  The fact that he could have some milk
cooked in helped us a lot as he was really feeling a pinch at bake sales or
potlucks not bing able to eat things because we were't sure what was in it.
Ss far we let him have about any baked goods without cheese, but never give
him any dairy in the house as I am sure that it effects him on some more
subtle level--behavior, etc.

We did not do the homeopathic remedy from a health food store.  We did it
with a chiropractor who does a lot with homeopathy and had him do muscle
testing for our allergies.

Don't know that this really helps much.  We have done the homeopathic
remedy a couple of different times for my son.
