If I inadvertantly ingest dairy, a severe headache follows which lasts
for 2 days without exception.  Canker sores can follow (but not always)
within a few days after that.

The doctor recommended Afrin and Aleve twice a day for the headaches.
It reduces the severity but not the duration.
