When I had my oldest (who is now almost 5) I had major difficulties breast
feeding so I pumped milk for him for 4-5 months and then switched gradually
to formula. I started with the most expensive soy formula but after talking
to my Pediatrician found that there is really no difference between the more
expensive and less expensive brands. I would recommend checking with your
Pediatriacian, or better yet their nurse, before making any changes. My
daughter was on formula her entire infancy (because of meds I was taking)
and all I've noticed about health differences between the two is that she's
more healthy than my dairy allergic son. Go figure!

Good luck and warm wishes!
