The chances are exactly the same as they would be if you had never become
LI. Either the gene exists in your family or it doesn't. But either way,
virtually no child is ever born LI. LI comes primarily from aging or
secondarily to damage to the intestines, as happened to you. (If LI was in
your family history you might have become LI at some time anyway.) But your
children should be able to drink milk throughout infancy and childhood. And
maybe much longer.
