Rosies experience is much like mine. I was sick from March through October
when I finally became dehydrated and could nearly move from the exhaustion
of pain, lack of sleep, and all the other symptoms. My doctor admitted me
to the hospital and I stayed there for a week while they looked for all the
"might be" illnesses. They then scheduled more tests on an outpatient
basis while they told me it was irritable bowel syndrome. Imagine my
doctors excitement after the hydrogen breath test when he could put a label
on the illness. Mine was caused by overdoses of antibiotics prescribed by
my doctors. Evidently it killed all the "good" enzymes and left me Lactose
Intolerant. Until last year I had no problems with food. Now everything
seems to have dairy in some form in it.

"I just wanted to introduce myself as I found this group while seeking info.
2 yrs. ago out of the blue I ended up in ER with what seemed like
"appendicitis" but turned out to be a reaction to "dairy food"."

Thanks for all the information that is posted on this site, it certainly
has enlightened me on things to watch for.

Juanita
