I can't help you with the pronunciation, but here's our story.

When my daughter (now 4 1/2 months old) was a month old, she started
exhibiting symptoms. Not that I knew what it was at the time, but I knew
that SOMETHING was wrong. She was extremely colicky, horribly gassy, she
was awake and in pain most of the time. She would sleep for 15 mins, then
wake up screaming and pulling her legs up, and straining. I made numerous
calls to her pediatrician and we made many visits there, only to be told,
"This is the age when colic starts-you just have to ride it out." I
mentioned milk to them, as I am LI, and thought it quite possible that she
had a problem with milk as well. They told me that LI is so rare in
infants, that they weren't going to test for it. They also told me to
eliminate dairy from my diet (I was breastfeeding), but gave me no
guidance--I had NO idea about all the hidden dairy. So I stopped drinking
milk(Yes, even though I'm LI, I DO indulge, as I love dairy! I seriously
pay for it later though! LOL), I stopped eating cheese and ice cream, and
she didn't get better. I finally insisted on them making an appointment
with a pediatric gastroenterologist, and it was there that we found out
about the milk protein allergy. They also gave me a list of ingredients to
avoid. After a few weeks of the milk-free diet, my daughter was remarkably
better. I have since stopped breastfeeding, and she is on Nutramigen (the
"million dollar" formula-geeze it's so expensive!), and doing a lot better.

Hopet his helps.
