All the brands of sprinkles we have found do not contain dairy.... they
usually have a U with a circle around it (the kosher symbol for parve/or no
known dairy...) but I( still always double check the labels.  We live in
northern NJ and all the local supermarkets carry the old fashioned sprinkles
...
