Don: what you're saying is very interesting to me. I really do want to get to
the bottom of it, though -- so I plan to find a good allergist who'll test me
for casein (and lactose, if that's possible. I read about a new-ish skin prick
allergy test for casein but not one for lactose). Meanwhile, I'm steering
clear of dairy in any way, shape or form. And you know what? I don't miss it
