Hi Nancy,

Can you do me a huge favor and post on any of the message boards to find a cake recipe for Donovan? His birthday is next month and I am having a hard time finding anything online that I can make for him.

The company that I work for has blocked access to message boards, so I can't post the request myself.

Anyway, I need to make a cake that is free of the following: MILK, EGGS, SOY, WHEAT (no cake flour or regular flour), RICE (no rice flour), and NUTS.

He is not allergic to corn, potatoes, or oats, and I have a Fleischman's for his butter. He's not allergic to apples or pumpkin, so if I had to use either as a binder, I can. In my cabinet, I know I have a package of Xantham Gum, as well as egg replacer. I think he can have Buckwheat.

I'm sure I can pick up any flours I need at Whole Foods, so that's not really an issue. I just need to make at least one practice cake for him.

Thanks for your help!! ~Kathy
