When I first put my younger son on the elimination diet and he reacted to
sugar and milk, I chose not to test chocolate because I figured it would
always be accompanied by sugar or milk.    Whoops, several weeks later I
sent some non dairy, no sugar pudding to school and got a call from his
teacher.  "What did you send in Scott's lunch?  It was like he turned
into the old Scott today."  (Old Scott being the one who couldn't pay
attention, or sit still or LEARN.)
Well that solved the chocolate question!!
